These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of namescombiner.net (the “Site”), operated by NamesCombiner (“we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Using the Site

The Site offers free online tools for combining and generating names, and related articles. You may use the Site for personal and commercial purposes in line with these Terms. You must be at least 13 years old, or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission, to use the Site.

2. Generated names and results

Names and other results are generated automatically by algorithms or, on the AI Name Combiner, by an AI model. You may use any result you generate, and we claim no ownership of your inputs or results. However:

  • We do not check whether a result is trademarked, registered as a company, used by someone else, or available as a domain name or social media username.
  • Results may be similar to names other people have generated or already use; we cannot guarantee uniqueness.
  • Results may occasionally be inaccurate, unsuitable or offensive in some languages or cultures despite our filters.

You are responsible for checking a name before relying on it, especially for a business, a product, a baby or a legal name change.

3. AI-generated content

AI suggestions are produced by a third-party model and may be inaccurate, repetitive or unexpected. They are provided for inspiration only. Do not enter sensitive personal information into the AI tool.

4. Entertainment tools

The Love Calculator and Couple Compatibility Test are for entertainment and conversation only. They do not predict or measure the success of any relationship. See our Disclaimer.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for anything unlawful, harmful, harassing or defamatory;
  • use generated names to impersonate others or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • scrape, overload or automate requests to the Site or its AI endpoint, or attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures;
  • attempt to probe, hack or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure;
  • copy or republish substantial parts of the Site’s content without permission.

6. Intellectual property

The Site’s design, text, articles, code and graphics are owned by NamesCombiner or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. You may share links to our pages and quote short excerpts with attribution. Celebrity and fictional names mentioned in examples belong to their respective owners and are used for illustration only. The Uncut Sans typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License. To report content that you believe infringes your copyright, see our DMCA Policy.

7. Third-party services and links

The Site relies on third-party services (such as Cloudflare and, with your consent, Google Analytics) and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, services or policies.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and all tools and content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NamesCombiner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or any generated name. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to US $50 (or £50). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer in the UK.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Changes

We may change the Site or these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Suspension

We may restrict or block access to the Site, or to the AI endpoint, for anyone who breaches these Terms or abuses the service.

13. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Disclaimer and DMCA Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
